The Accounting Specialist will handle a high volume of Accounts Payable transactions from invoice entry through payment, along with vendor reconciliations, researching discrepancies, and assisting with month‑end close. This is a hands‑on position for someone who knows AP and enjoys being the person who keeps things moving.

• Process a high volume of invoices and payments
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
• Respond to vendor questions and resolve payment issues
• Maintain accurate AP records and files
• Prepare and process payments
• Assist with month‑end close and AP‑related reconciliations
• Work with other departments to resolve invoice and billing issues
• Prepare reports and provide general accounting support as needed

• Solid Accounts Payable experience, ideally in a high‑volume environment
• Experience working with an ERP or accounting system
• Good Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable researching issues and following through to resolution
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented approach
• Accounting coursework or degree is a plus
