Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in accounts payable invoice processing
1 year of basic payroll processing through ADP
Must have experience working in manufacturing, e-commerce, or distribution industry
Experience with three-way matching, reconciliations, and journal entries
Knowledge of month-end close, accruals, and prepaid schedules
Inventory and cost accounting experience preferred
Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Specialist to support accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting functions. This role will be responsible for three-way matching, payroll processing support, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close activities, and inventory and cost tracking. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and perform three-way matching (POs, receipts, and invoices).
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records.
- Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support month-end close, including accruals and prepaid expense tracking.
- Monitor inventory transactions and assist with cost tracking and analysis.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to AP, payroll, and GL accounts.
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and process improvements.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Job Type & Location
This is a permanent position based out of Vancouver, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
