Position: Program Support Specialist 1 (8424)

ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Program Support Specialist 1 will provide comprehensive program and administrative support for performance management, training, staffing, and daily operations across a fast paced organization. The role coordinates performance review workflows, reporting, compliance tracking, and executive level scheduling while maintaining accurate documentation and SharePoint sites.

Responsibilities include supporting employee engagement and recognition activities, training and medical surveillance tracking, travel and timekeeping compliance, and cross functional operational coordination. This position requires mid to high level experience in process driven operational or customer support roles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Qualified candidates will have intermediate to advanced proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note), strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated editing and proofreading abilities;
Visio and MS Project experience is preferred.
This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA.

Pay Rate

$27.63 - $36.18

Responsibilities
  • Served as Performance Management Liaison (PML) for Transmission, supporting DOE performance planning, tracking, evaluations, reporting, and compliance
  • Provided technical guidance, training, reporting, and system administration for performance plans, proxies, workflows, and audits
  • Coordinated performance reviews, documentation, timelines, employee reassignments, and advisory plans to ensure annual completion
  • Supported training, employee engagement, recognition, medical surveillance, staffing plans, and compliance reporting
  • Analyzed staffing, budget, training, and performance data; generated reports and recommendations for leadership
  • Coordinated daily operations for VP and managers, including action tracking, calendars, communications, SharePoint administration, and executive support
  • Led and mentored a 16+ member administrative team; standardized processes, maintained SOPs, and ensured policy compliance
  • Managed time & attendance, travel compliance, onboarding, staffing actions, records management, and interdepartmental coordination
  • Provided comprehensive administrative and clerical support, including correspondence, meetings, documentation, audits, and event coordination
Requirements
  • A degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Business Operations (or closely related field) is preferred.
  • With an applicable Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of experience is required.
  • With an applicable Associates degree, 4 years of experience is required.
  • Without an applicable degree, 6 years of experience is required.
  • Experience should be workplace experience in mid/high-level, process-driven Customer Service or Operational Support positions
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills/experience with SharePoint sufficient to:
  • Support, manage, edit, and maintain site
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Outlook, One Note, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Visio and MS Project is preferred
  • Demonstrated editing and proofreading skills
  • Verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated tact, diplomacy and discretion.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.
