About This Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Assistant to support our legal and compliance teams in ensuring all advertising and marketing practices meet legal and industry standards. This role involves auditing advertisements, reporting violations, and coordinating with internal departments to address compliance issues.
Responsibilities- Supports General Counsel and compliance team to resolve any outstanding marketing violations.
- Monitors and reviews marketing accounts daily using compliance tools.
- Reviews submitted marketing materials, landing pages, and advertisements from publishers for compliance violations and provides feedback.
- Flags any non-compliant content and follows defined processes for escalation and resolution.
- Provides ongoing administrative support to the compliance team, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking updates.
- Reviews and responds to customer communications.
- Reviews websites and marketing content to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal guidelines.
- Maintains accurate records of ad submissions, reviews, and compliance status within relevant systems.
- Collaborates with internal teams to support quality control and ensure timely compliance reviews.
- Stays current on compliance trends, best practices, and platform updates related to digital marketing.
- Minimum High School Diploma; work experience to support ability to perform job duties highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Basic knowledge of digital and social media marketing practices.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving outstanding compliance issues.
- Cooperative mindset for cross-functional coordination.
- Occasionally requires flexible hours, including weekends, to monitor marketing compliance activities.
