Salary: $26.98 to $32.71 Hourly

Qualifications
  • Possess a high school degree or comparable equivalent
  • Minimum one year of job-related experience that demonstrates ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced, continually changing environment with frequent interruptions; or documented credits from an accredited institution equivalent to one year of experience (45 quarter or 30 semester credits)
  • Recency (prior 10 years) and substance of work experience will be considered
  • Experience with basic health-related tests or screening that demonstrates ability to maintain and manage a health room
  • Excellent customer service abilities, interpersonal skills, team‑player attitude, and ability to manage situations
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, conflict‑resolution skills and ability to think quickly
  • Excellent written communication skills, ability to compose and proof correspondence as needed
  • Experience using Microsoft Office/Suite (including Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work with numbers, mathematical computations, and worksheets
  • Willingness to learn new technology
  • Working knowledge and demonstrated experience in Gmail and Absence Management

  • Ability to interpret written or oral directives and to apply district rules, regulations, procedures, and policies

  • Ability to establish, manage, and maintain accurate files and records for district reports
  • Ability to coordinate, review, and direct staff, students, parents, and volunteer while maintaining effective working relationships
Other Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move moderately sized objects up to 50 pounds
  • Regular attendance to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position to achieve program requirement
Essential Functions
  • Treat co‑workers, supervisors, students, parents and others with dignity and respect at all times
  • Serve as a positive role model for students and practice the behaviors expected of our students
  • Work in a flexible and cooperative manner
  • Answer telephone, take messages, forward calls and direct visitors
  • Maintain and manage a health room, assist nurse with medication requirements, and maintain records of immunizations, injuries, and treatments
  • Maintain and manage health room annex and other associated duties as directed by the building administrator
  • Provide additional basic clerical support for other office clerical staff in building and administrators, as directed
  • Provide coverage during break and lunch periods
  • Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned by administrator in alignment with job classification
Benefits/Compensation

Salary range:
New employees will start at the minimum hourly rate in the salary range. Employees who have verified prior years of service in a similar occupational status may receive experience credit toward salary placement. Salary schedules can be accessed here.
