RPStaffing is conducting an immediate temp-to-hire search for a Government & Public Affairs Assistant with a major trade association based in Washington, D.C. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides executive administrative support to the Executive Vice President, Government & Public Affairs.
  • Manages the Executive Vice President's schedule and coordinates with the CEO and other executives.
  • Schedules travel, hotel accommodations, and prepares expense vouchers.
  • Sets up in-house meetings, including materials, room reservations, and video/teleconferencing setup.
  • Produces daily news clips and maintains industry-related media files.
  • Triages media calls and maintains communications media lists.
  • Assists with entry-level communications functions, including writing, website updates, and social media management.
  • Serves as back-up to the Reception desk.
  • Up to 10% travel required.

    Experience:

    Strong organizational skills, professional communication, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
