We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a part time Program Coordinator who is based in Chelan County, Washington, supporting a local income-qualified energy efficiency program funded by the county's public utility district. The program helps customers reduce high energy bills through home energy upgrades (covered at no cost to the customer) while also educating them on why those upgrades matter.
As the program has grown quickly over the past year, this role is intended to be a right hand to the Program Manager, taking on customer-facing and administrative work to help the team keep pace with that growth. In this role, you will serve as the local program representative and first point of contact for our customers, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of program services and daily operations.
This role provides customer support, coordinates project scheduling and communications, and performs administrative tasks to keep program activities running efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The Program Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for customers and visitors, coordinating and supporting staff with project scheduling and administrative functions.
Because approximately 85% of the customers this program serves are Spanish-speaking, fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role, not simply a plus. Beyond language, the ideal candidate brings genuine experience with or understanding of low-income communities and can put themselves in a customer's shoes — this, along with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort with technology, matters more to us than prior program-specific experience, which we're glad to teach.
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to commute if needed for outreach or meetings. This position is part time (approximately 20 hours/week - about 4 hours/day, 5 days/week, with some flexibility on scheduling), fully in-person, with preference given to candidates living within the Wenatchee area.
You’re a great fit if you can… Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and visitors, providing excellent customer service. Coordinate schedules, appointments, and communications for program staff and energy auditors. Maintain program records, paperwork, correspondence, and data in Quick Base — a system the team itself is still new to, so a quick-learning mindset goes a long way.
Process payments, perform data entry, and support reporting and data quality efforts. Support daily program operations and ensure compliance with program requirements.
Exciting candidates have… Fluent, professional-level bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish (required). Genuine experience with or connection to low-income communities. Experience in customer service, administrative support, or program coordination. Experience working with low-income programs, community service, or energy-efficiency programs. Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams). Comfort…
