General Service Technician

Location:

US-WA-Vancouver; 1416 Broadway ST; 98663.

Perform non-technical service repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, flushes, and more. Work alongside ASE Certified Automotive Technicians to gain training toward becoming an ASE Certified Automotive Technician.

Compensation: $20‑$23 per hour, depending on experience.

• Safely transport customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operate company vehicle safely and courteously while obeying all traffic laws.
• Conduct state safety and emission inspections on vehicles in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelines.
• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and tire rotation.
• Perform oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the shop foreman or store manager.
• Identify general vehicle condition and point out any obvious needed repairs or safety concerns to the shop foreman or store manager while performing basic services, and document using multi‑point inspection and/or repair order.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including service area, tire racks, showroom, and building exterior to present a clean appearance.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the shop foreman or store manager.

• Previous automotive experience preferred; energetic and hard‑working individuals with a passion for cars will also be considered.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.
