• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two year AA or Technical degree in a related field.
• Four years directly related supervisory and facility experience in bus and/or heavy equipment vehicle maintenance, including one year experience in small equipment repair. Work in a similar size school district or other organization may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
• Experience with current office technology (e.g., computers, fax, copier, Group Wise, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with Class ‘B’ Commercial Driver’s License with “P1S” endorsement and acceptable driving record.
• Computer knowledge of vehicle diagnosis software with basic knowledge of fleet maintenance software, fuel dispersal program, and vehicle inventory.
• Possess a basic set of auto mechanic tools and storage cabinet.
• Current WISHA approved first aid/CPR certification.

• Ability to work effectively as a team member and team leader as needed.
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to meet tight time constraints and deadlines including but not limited to varying working hours when necessary.
• Regular attendance is required to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position to achieve program requirements, goals, and outcomes.
