Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington is seeking a year-round Youth Development Professional Program Support!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSYouth Development Professionals will:
* Support the planning and implementation of activities for youth in program areas (Education, Tech, Art, Gym, Games)
* Provide behavioral guidance using conflict resolution techniques, restorative practices, and problem-solving.
* Provide guidance, affirm positive behavior, and act as a role model for youth.
* Create and maintain a safe environment through active supervision, setting clear expectations, and ensuring clean program areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
* A high school diploma or GED is required.
* Must be 18 years old or older for our Elementary Clubs
* Must be 21 years old or older for our Teen Clubs
* Must pass a national criminal background check, a social security verification, a local criminal background check, and a national sex offender registry check.
* Prior experience working with youth is preferred.
* This role requires physical activity, including standing, moving, and bending.
WORK SCHEDULE
* Availability is required Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, during the school year, and Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, during the summer.
* Position averages 15 hours per week.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS* $17.75 - $18.75 hourly, DOE
* Paid time off accrual and 12 paid holidays per year, including one floating holiday
