Assistant Construction Manager

The Assistant Construction Manager supports the Construction Project Manager and project team with the day-to-day execution of construction projects. This role helps coordinate field activities, track progress, manage documentation, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

• Support the Construction Project Manager with daily on-site activities
• Help oversee construction work to ensure safety, quality, and schedule requirements are met
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams
• Track project progress, schedules, and key milestones
• Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and basic reporting
• Help manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Participate in safety meetings and enforce site safety standards
• Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning, and project close-out
• Maintain accurate project records and provide regular status updates

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience supporting construction projects in the field or office
• Basic understanding of construction methods and scheduling
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment
