We’re looking for Electrical Superintendents to lead industrial and advanced technology projects across the U.S. as part of the Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation.

• Mentor and develop other Superintendents
• Review and approve labor rates for foremen, journeymen, and laborers
• Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
• Develop and maintain good client relations through staff on site
• Initiate and attend supplemental and regular meetings with clients for problem resolution and planning
• Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
• Review, approve and negotiate change orders
• Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover
• Maintain a daily diary for record keeping
• Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations for direct reports
• Recommend organizational, policy, procedural, or staffing changes as appropriate
• Review and approve or reject promotions up to General Foremen

• 10+ years of construction experience, including 1+ year in a General Superintendent or leadership role; experience on large heavy civil construction projects preferred
• Self‑starter with high motivation and ability to work independently
• Quick learner of Kiewit policies, procedures, and software programs
• Strong problem‐solving skills
• Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated leadership, safety, negotiation, planning, and contract administration experience

• Regular, reliable attendance
• Work productively and meet deadlines
• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others
• Follow safety procedures, including use of equipment and warning signs
• Work during normal operating hours and be available for overtime and weekends as required
• Be willing to work at various locations under varying conditions

Base Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 per year (actual compensation varies by education, experience, skill set, location, and other factors).
