Must-Haves
• 2 to 5 years of construction or facility project management experience
• Candidates with a few additional years of experience are also welcome
• Strong technical experience with HVAC systems and facility infrastructure
• Working knowledge of electrical, structural, roofing, plumbing, and other building systems
• Experience managing multiple projects at the same time
• Experience working in occupied or operating facilities
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and coordinate the right teams to resolve them
• Strong communication, organization, and contractor-management skills
• Ability to travel approximately 50%

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Veterinary, healthcare, medical, or other regulated facility experience
• Owner-side construction management experience
• Renovation experience in facilities that remain open during construction
• Experience with HVAC replacements, water intrusion, roofing, electrical, ADA, or environmental-remediation projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field PMP, CCM, PE, or a similar certification

Job Description Our clients are hiring two Construction Managers to oversee infrastructure, repair, and renovation projects across active veterinary hospitals. This person will act as the owner's representative, managing projects from planning through completion while coordinating contractors, technical teams, hospital leaders, and business operations. The Construction Manager will typically oversee 10+ active projects at a time across an assigned national territory.

Projects will take place in operating veterinary hospitals, so this person must be able to complete construction while minimizing disruption to employees, customers, and patient care.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Manage multiple construction and facility projects from planning through closeout
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, contractors, risks, and documentation
• Troubleshoot technical facility issues, especially involving HVAC and other building systems
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and hospital leadership
• Manage construction inside active hospitals that remain open during renovations
• Communicate project updates, risks, and solutions to internal stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with hospital practice managers and business operations teams Travel to project sites based on project needs
