Podcast Production & Editing Assistant; On-Site, Learning

This is a hands-on learning role for someone who wants real experience in video and podcast production. You'll work on-site at the Plunge House in Vancouver, Washington, supporting weekly recording days and then turning those recordings into finished episodes for You Tube and Spotify.

The studio is already set up. Cameras are in place and connected to the mics, and the editing software and social accounts are ready to go. You'll start with a dedicated training day to learn the setup and get access to everything you need. Think of it like joining a kitchen that's already stocked: you get to focus on learning to cook, not on buying pots and pans.

• Help set up cameras and microphones on weekly production days
• Run behind-the-scenes support during recordings so the conversation can flow
• Edit episodes throughout the week, including trimming, cleaning up audio, and pulling short clips
• Upload finished episodes to You Tube and Spotify
• Share ideas for how we can grow the show's reach

• Curious about video production, editing, or podcasting (experience is welcome but not required)
• Reliable and able to be on-site in Vancouver, WA once a week
• Detail-oriented and comfortable learning new software
• Drawn to meaningful conversation and interested in how media can bring people together

You'll work directly with Plunge Founder & CEO Kathy Carlisle during the early stages of the company. That means real responsibility, a front-row seat to how a startup gets built, and the chance to help grow a podcast from the ground up into something that spreads the word about Plunge as a tool for connection. You'll leave with a portfolio of published work and skills you can take anywhere.
