Pay: $17 - $24 per hour

• Certification:
  Valid Washington State Dental Assistant Certification is required.
• Language:
  Spanish speaking is REQUIRED.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Clinical Knowledge:
  Proficiency in dental technology, infection control, and health maintenance.
• Heart for Service: A demonstrated ability to work compassionately with low-income and trauma-impacted populations.
• Physical Ability:
  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate a fast-paced clinical setting.

• Clinical Excellence:
  Perform a full range of dental assisting duties (per WAC ), supporting dentists and hygienists during complex procedures.
• Patient Advocacy & Translation:
  Act as a vital linguistic bridge, providing Spanish translation to ensure our Spanish-speaking patients feel heard, understood, and respected.
• Holistic Support:
  Record vital signs and medical histories while offering spiritual encouragement and prayer to patients experiencing hardship or trauma.
• Operational Integrity:
  Manage clinical documentation, billing codes, and equipment maintenance with high precision to ensure the clinic remains a sanctuary of excellence.
• Trauma-Informed Interaction:
  Prioritize the emotional safety of guests, responding to emergencies with grace and maintaining a calm, Christ-like presence under stress.
