At Print Global Experience and Design (GxD), user experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful product experiences that people love to use and welcome into their home or business. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions to yield insights that inform product strategy and guide the design of the experiences we create.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of other designers and internal and outsourced design and development partners to develop holistic, high-quality user experience solutions for moderate to complex projects, products, and services.
  • Design user experience solutions for products and service lines based on established design principles and in accordance with design strategy, practices, and guidelines.
  • Drive and expand relationships with internal and outsourced partners on user experience design and development.
  • Work collaboratively with the Product Marketing, R&D, quality, and support teams to gather insights and derive solutions that improve the overall experience.
  • Test and gather user experience data in accordance with established research plans and specifications; analyze, describe, and report results to design stakeholders.
  • Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with user experience design and development guidelines and standards; provide tangible feedback to improve product quality and user experience.
  • Represent the user experience design team for all phases of larger and more‑complex development and design projects and programs.

  • Ensure that branding and illustrations are implemented correctly inside of products, presentations, and other experiences.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced staff members.
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, User Interface Design, or equivalent.
  • Typically 6-8 years’ experience.
  • Must have end‑to‑end product design/delivery experience, from ideation to concept creation to implementation.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Broad experience with application of user‑centered design along with design theories and concepts to a portfolio of multiple information technology and consumer products and services designs.
  • Experience and proven ability to craft seamless and intuitive experiences across both digital interfaces and physical product interactions to bridge the gap between hardware and software, ensuring a holistic and user‑centered approach to product development from concept to launch.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced software environment, and an ability to execute against aggressive timelines.
  • Experience designing web and mobile solutions (enterprise experience a plus).
  • Broad understanding and experience in designing and implementing research and data collection plans for interactive and interface design testing and acceptance.
  • Reviewing and evaluating designs for alignment with overall product architecture; recommending and implementing changes to designs and technology to improve product quality and overall interactive and interface design.
  • Ability to effectively communicate interactive and interface design data, design proposals and product specifications and negotiate options at senior management levels.
  • Excellent skills in wire framing and prototyping design tools (Figma, Miro, etc.).
  • Experience in UX Research.
