Landscape Designer

Apex is seeking a full‑time Landscape Designer to join our Vancouver, Washington office. You will collaborate on projects primarily throughout Oregon and Washington, contributing to design and technical development. This role is a team‑oriented position; we value a self‑starter eager to innovate, embrace feedback, and integrate ecological design into built environments.

• Assist the landscape architecture team in design, drawing production, and project management support.
• Collaborate on complex projects from concept through completion.
• Work effectively with multi‑disciplinary project teams.
• Prepare planting designs and construction documents with minimal oversight.
• Develop project‑specific construction details with an understanding of budget and constructability.
• Perform site analysis, product and plant research, and sourcing.
• Integrate sustainable design and construction methodologies into work.
• Maintain and improve existing company standards, processes, and systems.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations, and marketing efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with construction documentation, technical details, specifications, and overall project delivery coordination.
• Knowledge of Central/Eastern Washington and Oregon planting design.
• Knowledge of irrigation design.
• Knowledge of on‑site safety practices, construction methodologies, observation, and field reporting.

Hourly Expected Pay Range: $31 – $35 USD
