As a board-certified Cardiologist, you'll provide inpatient consults, rounding, admissions, and advanced cardiac procedures in a collaborative environment with APC support. This travel assignment is ideal for physicians seeking clinical autonomy, diverse patient exposure, and a rewarding locum tenens experience using Epic EMR.
Job Responsibilities- Provide inpatient general cardiology consultations and admissions.
- Perform cardioversions and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
- Conduct daily patient rounding and ongoing cardiac management.
- Document patient encounters using Epic EMR.
- Participate in scheduled daytime coverage and on-call responsibilities.
- Board Certified in Cardiology.
- Board Certified in Electrophysiology.
- Active Washington medical license or ability to obtain one.
- ACLS certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- NRP certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- Recent Epic EMR experience required.
- 10-hour day shifts
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Approximately one week per month
- Scheduled coverage with weekday and weekend call as needed
