Behind-the-Wheel Instructor (Driver’s Ed)
Location: Vancouver, WA

Status: Part‑Time & Full‑Time Positions Available
Driving 101 Driving School, Vancouver’s top-rated, all-inclusive driving school and DOL-certified testing center, is looking for a compassionate, patient, and safety-focused behind-the-wheel instructor to join our team.
This is more than a job, it’s a chance to guide, teach, and positively impact new drivers as they gain the skills and confidence to be safe for life.
What You’ll Do:- Provide one‑on‑one driving instruction to teens and adults
- Help students stay calm, focused, and safe behind the wheel
- Follow a structured curriculum while adapting to each student's needs
- Create a supportive, encouraging, and positive learning experience
- Promote safe driving habits that last a lifetime
- Calm under pressure and naturally encouraging
- Genuinely cares about student success and safety
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Enjoys variety, movement, and being out on the road
- Previous teaching, mentoring, or youth work is a bonus (not required)
- Training and certification (100‑hour Instructor Training)
- Sign‑on bonus once licensed

- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 5 years
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 24 months
- No license suspensions in the past 3 years
- No speeding tickets over 9 mph in the past 5 years
- Must pass WA State and Federal background checks
Already certified as a WA State Driving Instructor? Even better, but we’re happy to train the right person!
Instructor Schedule Options:Part‑Time Options:
- Monday – Friday, 3:00–8:00 PM (with optional weekends)
- Monday – Friday, 3:00–6:00 PM (with optional weekends)
Full‑Time Options:
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM–8:00 PM
