Role DescriptionThe Student Achievement Specialist is a full-time, on-site position located in Vancouver, WA. The role involves actively supporting student success through academic advising, mentoring, and providing guidance during their educational journey. The Specialist will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and other departments to develop individualized strategies to assist students in achieving academic and professional goals. Additional responsibilities include organizing support services and workshops, monitoring student progress, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications- Strong academic advising, career counseling, and student mentorship skills
- Proficiency in program coordination, planning student services, and providing educational workshops
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with data management, student records, and tracking systems
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in working with students
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field required;
Master's degree preferred - Previous experience in an academic support or student services role is an asset
