Evergreen Public Schools Cascadia Technical Academy Skills Center – Vancouver, Washington

Schedule:

Monday, June 29, 2026 – Friday, July 17, 2026 (15 days) – 7.0 work hours per day, 7:45 am to 3:15 pm (incl. 0.5 hour lunch). July 3rd is a non‑work, non‑paid day.

Position type:
Part‑Time. Salary: $51.20 to $94.17 per hour, negotiated.

Job Description

This role involves developing and delivering the Aviation Summer School curriculum to high‑school students, assessing student progress, and maintaining professional relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.

Essential Functions
  • Implement the Aviation Summer School curriculum and evaluate student progress using current industry methods and practices.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members, demonstrating respect, cooperation, and professionalism.
  • Maintain student records and report progress to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure a safe, positive learning environment with effective classroom management and discipline procedures.
  • Organize, manage, and maintain instructional facilities, equipment, and resources.
Qualifications
  • Certified CTE teacher in Aircraft Technician.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in the aviation industry.

  • Collaborates effectively with instructional support services and administrative staff to meet organizational goals.
