1.0 FTE

This position will remain open until a qualified applicant is selected. The earliest date a recommendation for hire may be submitted is after 04/17/2026.

This is a Continuing Position.

Evergreen Public Schools (EPS) offers the following to eligible employees who work at least 630 hours in a school year:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Participate as a member of a building team in the assessment and evaluation of students.
  • Conduct diagnostic speech/language and communication assessments, identify needs, prepare therapy plans and participate in eligibility and IEP conferences.
  • Based upon student assessment, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans.
  • Provide therapeutic services to students with identified Communication Disorders, including case management for communication disordered only students.
  • Work collaboratively with special education and general education teams in developing and delivering speech‑language services to support communication skills relevant to educational performance.
  • Monitor student's progress in therapy and generate progress reports and complete Medicaid electronic logs for eligible students.
  • Consult and communicate with other professionals and students' families regarding the needs of students.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with parents, teachers, administrators, support staff, and community.
  • Understand and use a variety of assistive technologies and programs.
  • Understand and use a variety of augmentative communication devices and programs.
