Teacher Education Adjunct Professor

We value collaboration with staff, faculty, and students, and are dedicated to guiding students towards the achievement of their academic and career goals. Clark College is currently seeking to fill part-time Teacher Education Adjunct Professor positions. This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach late afternoon, or evening hours.

Faculty responsibilities include:
- Instruct classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
- Participate in decision-making processes by taking part in department and/or college committees.
- Pursue professional development.
- Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques.
- Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
- Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Minimum qualifications and competencies include:
- Master's Degree in Elementary Education (K-8), K-12 Administration & Supervision, K-12 Curriculum & Instruction or a closely related field.
- Three (3) years of relevant K-12 teaching experience.
- Experience with online teaching modalities.
- Experience implementing culturally responsive pedagogy using multiple instructional methods, formats, and assessments.
- Ability to work well as a member of a team.
- Experience mentoring and/or supervising teacher candidates preferred.
- Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
Salary:
Lecture rate $93.18 hour, and lab rate is $79.59 hour. Application process required online application materials include:
