Clark College is currently seeking to fill a part‑time Computer Science Professor position.
This is a part‑time faculty position and is not eligible for employer‑sponsored benefits.
Responsibilities- Instruct project‑based Computer Science classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
- Participate in relevant department activities supporting the teaching and learning environment.
- Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.
- Master’s degree in computer science from an accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of experience in software development or teaching.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: database, software engineering, artificial intelligence, cyber security, mobile app development, cloud computing and embedded system.
- Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
Lecture hourly rate is $93.18, and lab hourly rate is $79.59.
