Part-time Environmental Science Professor - Continuous Pool

Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part‑time Environmental Science Professor. Applicants must be willing to teach during the summer in addition to other terms and both online and in person. The lecture rate is $95.60 and the lab rate is $81.66. This is a part‑time faculty position and is not eligible for employer‑sponsored benefits. This portion of the recruitment is ongoing and positions will be filled as program needs arise.

• Instruct classes in Environmental Science utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
• Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, businesses, advisory committees, and other educational partners to create unique learning opportunities at Clark College.
• Participate in program, curriculum development and assessment activities.
• Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques.

• Master's Degree or higher in Environmental Science or a closely related science field (with significant graduate coursework in environmental science).
• Teaching experience.
• Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

This part‑time faculty position does not provide employer‑sponsored benefits. The hourly lecture rate is $95.60 and the hourly lab rate is $81.66.

Background check required. Completion of academic degrees will be verified through official transcripts. A Vocational Certification plan must be in place prior to the first day of classes.
