• Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification (required)
• Experience working with a variety of disabilities at the middle school level preferred
• Strong communication skills and a passion for student advocacy
• Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to travel for the duration of the assignment

• Provide high-quality instruction and support to middle school students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and other professionals
• Adapt curricula and teaching methods to meet each student’s unique requirements
• Maintain accurate records and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
