Pro Sidian seeks an Engineering Operations Technician I | Construction Project Controls Engineering [FHWA
09009] for Program Support on a Exempt W2 basis: on-site (client site) in the Vancouver, WA area, with roles generally located across the CONUS. This position supports FHWA WFLHD on-site engineering technicians for construction administration, schedules, budgets, and records.
We seek candidates with relevant Federal Government (Transportation Infrastructure) sector experience to support professional services engagements for Federal Government (Transportation Infrastructure) sector clients such as FHWA. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) position in the Construction Project Controls Engineering

JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as an Engineering Operations Technician I on-site in the Federal Government (Transportation Infrastructure) industry, focusing on Engineering Solutions for clients such as U.S. Department of Transportation (FHWA | WFLHD) and FHWA Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD) in Vancouver, WA and across the Western United States. Work is on-site at the client site.
On-site Engineering Operations / Facilities & Infrastructure Support. Keep infrastructure running by monitoring systems, fixing issues, and supporting daily operations. Entry-level on-site engineering support performing hands-on operations, monitoring, and routine issue resolution. Serve and provide on-site engineering support services for the FHWA Western Federal Lands Highway Division – Vancouver, WA. NUMBER OF POSITIONS:
One (1). Provide on-site engineering operations support; conduct routine inspections; monitor facilities, utilities, and infrastructure systems; collect and document operational data; support preventive maintenance activities; follow FHWA and DOT SOPs; coordinate with senior engineers and contractors; respond to basic system faults and service requests.

- The Engineering Operations Technician I interacts with WFLHD personnel in the Construction, Acquisitions and Finance departments to complete tasks.
- The technician supports construction branch operations and contract administration of records for initial, interim and closeout tasks related to construction projects.
- The technician shall carry out recurring construction branch operations and administration support procedures independently, and select the guideline or reference that fits the specific case.
- Contacts personnel in related activities to resolve problems.
- Contract administration of records support includes understanding regulations and interpreting plans and specifications. The work entails analyzing, processing, organizing, extracting, compiling and maintaining a variety of information and data from engineering field notes, manuals, lab reports, progress payment estimate…
