+ Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback, design changes, and project requirements.
+ Collaborate with a small drafting team and leadership to ensure drawings align with project goals, standards, and timelines.
+ Apply mechanical and construction knowledge to produce drawings that are practical, buildable, and aligned with real-world applications.
+ Follow established drafting standards, file naming conventions, and documentation procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy.

+ Ability to read, understand, and translate technical information into clear, accurate drawings.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.
+ Ability to work effectively in an office-based team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in construction or hands-on mechanical experience that informs practical, real-world design decisions.
+ Openness to learning new tools, methods, and internal processes quickly.
+ Interest in growing with a company that has active plans for expansion and values long-term contributors.
+ Proximity to the Vancouver-Camas area is strongly preferred to support an on-site work model.
Work Environment
This is onsite in Vancouver and Camas (dual location). You will work as part of a close-knit team of approximately five drafters, collaborating regularly with a Lead Drafter while the entire team reports directly to company leadership. The environment emphasizes hands-on collaboration, quick adoption of internal systems, and exposure to real-world fabrication and construction considerations. Work is performed on standard office computers and CAD workstations using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
