CAD Drafter

This is an in‑office position dedicated to creating technical 2D drawings. The ideal candidate will possess formal training and practical experience in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Candidates with professional drafting experience in Architectural, Structural, or Fabrication disciplines will receive priority consideration.

• Create and develop technical 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Collaborate with a team of drafters to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• Assist in the development and refinement of drafting processes and standards.
• Contribute to projects focused on Architectural, Structural, or Fabrication disciplines.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• 1–2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in Architectural, Structural, or Fabrication fields.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

• Background in construction or hands‑on mechanical experience is advantageous.
• AS/BS degree in a related field is helpful, with a preference for an AS degree in CAD or similar technical field.

We will be focusing on local talent to the Southwest Washington and broader Portland metro. Please submit a CAD‑focused resume and a work portfolio or link to one.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA. The position is fully onsite.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 – $30.00/hr.
