Job Description
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Project Manager located within the Transmission Infrastructure Asset Management organization. The role supports the execution and delivery of the organization’s transmission capital projects, including telecom projects, non‑electric facilities, and security capital projects. The Project Manager will manage integration and execution of these projects, focusing on workload planning and integration throughout the transmission capital project process.
This is a 2‑year plus consultant position with a high probability of long‑term employment. The position is hybrid, based in Vancouver, WA, with onsite work 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
The hourly pay rate for this position, which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09, is between $50.16 and $76.09 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as the composition of the selected compensation package.
Qualifications- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Organization Development, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field is preferred.
- With an applicable Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of experience is required.
- With a Bachelor’s degree not in applicable fields, 12 years of experience is required.
- Without a Bachelor’s degree, 14 years of experience is required.
- Project management experience on projects related to Utility Physical Security and Compliance, High Voltage Substation, or Telecommunications Systems.
- At least 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience using industry‑standard methods and tools for managing schedules, dependencies, resources, funding, and developing technical specifications and project plans.
- Experience accurately assessing and estimating project costs.
- Experience writing and understanding functional and technical specifications.
- Experience developing project schedule timelines reflecting major tasks (planning, design, procurement, construction, testing).
- Experience with SharePoint or a similar program.
- Experience with Visio or a similar program.
- Experience with MS Project.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License or RealID is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
