Who You Are:You're an experienced project engineer who moves fluidly between technical depth and people leadership — equally comfortable reviewing a P& walking a client through project status. You bring structure to complex, multi-disciplinary projects: managing scope, risk, schedule, and budget without losing sight of the engineering details underneath them. You communicate clearly and confidently with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and you don't wait to be asked before improving a process or mentoring a colleague.
Grounded in a strong understanding of industrial systems and project execution, you bring sound judgment and follow-through to everything you own.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years in a technical role within a process industry (biogas/RNG preferred; water/wastewater, pulp & paper, oil & gas, etc. also considered), including at least 5 years in a project engineering or project management role.
- Working knowledge of project governance, scope definition, change control, risk identification and mitigation, schedule and critical path management, resource planning, vendor/subcontractor management, procurement coordination, and document control.
- Familiarity with industrial process equipment and engineered systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel), working knowledge of project management software, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residence; position is subject to annual DMV record screening in accordance with insurance and client requirements
- Ability to pass a background check
- 10+ years in a technical role within a process industry, including 5+ years in project engineering or project management specifically within biogas/RNG.
- Experience mentoring early-career engineers.
- Familiarity with biogas/RNG systems and processes — anaerobic digestion, biogas conditioning/upgrading, H2S removal, moisture removal, siloxane/VOC treatment, CO2 removal/RNG upgrading, compression/flare/storage/gas handling, and digestate…
