Event Staff

Salary

$20.00 per hour

Vancouver, WA

Part Time, Hours vary (Monthly Schedule). Must be available evenings, weekdays, and weekends. Can start at 6 a.m. or end at 1 a.m. Long‑term.

• Advance Notice:
  Receive your work schedule monthly, making it easier to plan around personal, family, or other work commitments.
• Community Impact:
  Support events that bring people together at a well‑known local historic organization.
• Variety of Work:
  Every event is different, offering a mix of customer service, event setup, and guest interaction.

• Set up and tear down event spaces, including tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, and safety materials.
• Welcome guests, provide information, and ensure facility rules are followed.
• Inspect facilities and equipment before, during, and after events and report any maintenance concerns.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment throughout events.

• Prior work experience in event set up, banquets, or catering preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle unexpected situations professionally.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move furniture, event equipment, and other items up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks in indoor and outdoor environments.
