Key Responsibilities

• Support the company’s multi-jurisdiction tax function, including preparation and review of federal corporate returns and state and local tax compliance
• Research and interpret complex tax laws to ensure accurate filings and regulatory compliance
• Maintain detailed tax work papers and documentation; assist with tax planning initiatives
• Reconcile and analyze tax-related general ledger accounts and book-to-tax differences, including 263A and Schedule M-1
• Assist with income tax provision calculations and entries under ASC 740
• Respond to tax authority inquiries and support federal, state, and local tax audits
• Monitor tax law changes, communicate impacts to leadership, and support tax-related internal controls and special projects

Qualifications & Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 5+ years of progressive tax accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance, including preparation of C-Corp income tax returns
• Experience with corporate tax provisions, compliance, and reporting; manufacturing or industrial background preferred
• CPA license or progress toward certification a plus
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Proficient with cloud-based productivity tools and effective written and verbal communicator

$110,000 - $130,000
