Peace Health is seeking a Hybrid IT Operations Coordinator for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at Peace Health is $23.74 – $35.62. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
Job SummaryThe IT Financial Operations Coordinator provides operational and financial coordination support for the Information Technology department, ensuring accurate processing, tracking, and reconciliation of IT‑related financial transactions. This role is responsible for coding and processing invoices, reconciling charges against open purchase orders, and supporting budget owners (IT Managers) with timely and accurate financial information. Working in close partnership with the Finance team, the IT Financial Operations Coordinator helps ensure financial controls, budget integrity, and transparency across IT operations.
EssentialFunctions
- Reviews, codes, and processes IT invoices in accordance with organizational financial policies and procedures. Reconciles invoices against approved purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documentation.
- Investigates and resolves discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or approval status. Ensures timely submission of invoices to avoid late fees or service disruption.
- Monitors open purchase orders, tracking remaining balances and expiration dates.
- Partners with IT managers to validate charges and ensure expenses align with approved budgets.
- Supports creation, maintenance, and closure of IT purchase orders as requested by budget owners.
- Maintains supporting documentation for audits and financial reviews.
- Works in coordination with the Finance team to support monthly and periodic budget reconciliations. Assists with variance identification, research, and explanation.
- Prepares routine financial summaries or reports for IT leaders as requested. Helps ensure expenses are recorded in the correct period and cost center.
- Identifies opportunities for improved efficiency in invoice processing and financial tracking.
- Supports audits by providing documentation and transaction history upon request.
- Serves as a point of contact for routine vendor billing inquiries related to IT invoices.
- Coordinates with Procurement and Finance to ensure vendor records and payment terms are accurate.
- Assists IT leaders with tracking service renewals and routine contract‑related financial milestones.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Associate Degree
Required:

- Minimum of 3 years
Required:
Accounts payable, financial coordination, or administrative support of financial/accounting roles - Required:
Purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, financial systems - Preferred: IT or healthcare experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy (Required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Required)
- Working knowledge of financial systems and ERP tools (Required)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines (Required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required)
- Effective with IT leaders, Finance, and vendors (Required)
- Discretion with sensitive financial information (Required)
- Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
