Where You Will Work:
Remote role open to candidates residing in Washington (WA) or Oregon (OR).
Pay Range:
The target annual pay range for this position is $104,632 - $118,900. The full annual pay range is $95,120 - $142,680.

Job Overview:
This position supports the Commercial Lending Team by handling all aspects of commercial loan portfolio management. Key duties include technical and administrative tasks related to managing existing and new commercial credit relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Support Commercial Loan Officers in managing existing commercial credit relationships and assist with new relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing borrowing relationships.
- Partner with the commercial lending team to ensure timely annual reviews, document performance against covenants and conditions, and assist in monitoring deteriorating credit relationships.
- Collect updated information, analyze data, and create periodic loan review memorandums with risk upgrade or downgrade recommendations.
- Create and review annual memorandums, property inspections, and commercial real estate evaluations.
- Underwrite, structure, and document new loan and modification requests for existing client relationships above a designated threshold.
- Manage relationships with loan participation partners and provide research and underwriting for new participation loan requests.
- Seek cross‑sell opportunities and direct members to other credit union services and products.
- Perform due diligence, reviewing financial, entity, legal and other documents prior to credit submission.
- Support the CLO in monitoring portfolio performance, defining credit relationship solutions, identifying issues, and providing remediation and approval recommendations.
- Support the CLO in developing and maintaining special reports for risk monitoring and allocation.
- Assist in training Commercial Portfolio Managers on financial spreads, credit memorandums, reviews, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all state/federal regulations, policies, and procedural guidelines; provide feedback for policy updates.
- Act as a backup for the Commercial Credit Manager when needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Minimum seven (7) years of loan underwriting experience, preferably in commercial underwriting and analysis within a financial institution.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- RMA Lending Certifications.
What You’ll Bring:
- Working knowledge of commercial lending and deposit account procedures, commercial and personal financial statement analysis, credit approval/annual review memorandums, and commercial loan documentation.
- Knowledge of lending regulations.
- Subject‑Matter Expert level understanding of accounting, business finance, commercial real estate finance, financial statement and cash flow analysis preferred.
- High standards in accuracy, thoroughness, completeness, and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, and customer service orientation.
- Ability to organize work to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Credit Union policies and member account transactions.
- Team collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with office machines and data processing systems.
- Experience with Abrigo Sageworks financial software (or equivalent) preferred.

All benefits except 401(k) start the first of the month following hire; 401(k) eligibility after 60 days of employment.
