Job Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers via in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel with a digital first mindset.
- Establish trust, assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, and gather and process customer and account information.
- Educate clients on deposit and loan products, and recommend solutions based on unique goals and needs.
- Proactively outreach and follow up to learn about clients’ financial needs and channel preferences.
- Identify solutions for new and existing clients by engaging and communicating effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings.
- Provide optimal client experience, greet clients, and process basic transactions.
- Collaborate with branch team members to best serve clients.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet financial needs.
- Use resources and technologies to optimize client experience and maintain operational excellence and accuracy.
- Register with National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and comply with S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three to four years of retail banking experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to identify customers’ true needs while applying a digital first mindset.
- Basic proficiency in making recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- NMLS registration.
- Compliance with S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z.
