Position: Client Relationship Consultant 2-4 – Banker

Job Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers via in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel with a digital first mindset.
  • Establish trust, assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, and gather and process customer and account information.
  • Educate clients on deposit and loan products, and recommend solutions based on unique goals and needs.
  • Proactively outreach and follow up to learn about clients’ financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients by engaging and communicating effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings.
  • Provide optimal client experience, greet clients, and process basic transactions.
  • Collaborate with branch team members to best serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet financial needs.
  • Use resources and technologies to optimize client experience and maintain operational excellence and accuracy.
  • Register with National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and comply with S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three to four years of retail banking experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to identify customers’ true needs while applying a digital first mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in making recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Certifications & Qualifications
  • NMLS registration.
  • Compliance with S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z.
