** The Cooper lab at WashU is seeking a post-doctoral research fellow with a strong background in immunology and bioinformatics to work on projects related to understanding somatic variants in inborn errors of immunity.#

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Independently design and perform experiments related to identification of somatic variants leading to inborn errors of immunity, with oversight from PI.
* Write manuscripts describing the findings of your scientific research.
* Accurate documentation and record-keeping.
* Assist with writing grant applications for the laboratory, and submit training grant applications to support your work.
* Work collaboratively with all members of the laboratory.
* Meet with Dr. Cooper regularly to review progress and for career development.

* Working Conditions:

** This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
** Salary Range:
** Base pay is commensurate with experience.
