Overview
Why This Role Is Different. If you’re an experienced MRI Technologist who’s tired of churn, short contracts, or “figure-it-out-yourself” assignments — this one’s worth a look.
You’ll be supporting U.S. Veterans in a stable hospital environment, under a long-term federal contract, with predictable scheduling and real clinical impact. This is staff augmentation done right — not travel chaos.
OR & Vancouver, WA
Responsibilities- Performing advanced MRI imaging (head, spine, abdomen, extremities, chest)
- Operating high-end MRI equipment in a hospital setting
- Working directly with radiologists and VA clinical staff
- Supporting routine, urgent, and after-hours imaging needs
- Maintaining clean documentation and patient safety standards (VA takes this seriously)
- 8, 9, or 10-hour shifts
- Rotating 4–5 day schedules
- Some weekends & holidays
- On-call and occasional overtime (paid)
- Long-term assignment — not a 13-week sprint
- ARRT certification (MRI specialty)
- BCLS
- 2+ years hospital MRI experience
- Must have worked as an MRI Tech in a hospital within the last 6 months
- Able to commit at least 6 months
- Comfortable with physical work (standing, lifting patients/equipment up to 50–100 lbs)
- Able to pass VA background & drug screening
- Professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
