As a Certified Behavior Technician, you'll play a vital role in helping children develop essential skills, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Your Dream Job Awaits!- Work one-on-one with children using evidence-based ABA techniques to promote independence, social skills, and personal growth through fun and interactive activities tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Teaching skills to enhance communication and functioning
- Implementing and facilitating behavior plans, monitoring outcomes, and adjusting strategies as needed
- Restructuring environments to support positive outcomes and reduce problematic behaviors
- Collecting data and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating with behavior analysts, families, and peers to coordinate activities and advocate for individual needs
- Completing daily progress notes and maintaining accurate records

Education:
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
RequirementsQualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass a National Criminal Background check
- CBT License preferred
- Completion 40 Hours CBT Training Required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to physically engage with children in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 30lbs and maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.
- Must be willing to travel and work in-home settings.
- Childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.)
- Mental health advocates and professionals (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
- Camp counselors, volunteers, youth faith group leaders or youth coaching
- Degrees in special education, teaching, psychology, sociology, or related fields (any degree preferred)
- Experience as direct support, paraprofessionals, or life skills assistants
