Job Overview
Rainier Springs is a behavioral hospital located in Vancouver, WA. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents, and their families. It provides a full continuum of care for those suffering from mental health issues and/or chemical dependency, including inpatient treatment, partial day programming, and intensive outpatient services. Assessment services are available hours a day, seven days a week.

Rainier Springs is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This full‑time position has a set schedule of 7PM to 7AM, 3x a week!

- Support the organization, program and unit philosophy of care
- Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients
- Ensure medical orders are followed, initiate and follow treatment planning
- Act as a patient advocate at all times

Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training
- Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within days of employment and prior to any patient contact
Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
