Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) – Lab Services
Sea Mar is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived lab tests, automated CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling
- Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation
- Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs
- Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA
- Communicate results and coordinate with providers and clinical staff
- Active WA State MA-P (Medical Assistant–Phlebotomist) certification required
- High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent)
- Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Must pass pre-hire competency test
