Medical Assistant - Dermatology

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a full-time, dynamic Medical Assistant to join the Dermatology team! Come join our growing team! Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with the overall delivery of patient care. Candidates must be able to multitask, work collaboratively as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Four 10-hour shifts, 7am-5:30pm, 30-min lunch. Day off TBD.

hiring rate is between $20.60-$24.25 per hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Active WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential, hiring range starts at $22.25/hour and goes up based on experience.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Required completion of one of the following:
  Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or
  * EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification. Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
• Current healthcare provider BLS required
• Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred
