Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in the Vancouver and Portland Metro areas.

Work Schedule:

Hours vary Monday – Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm; overtime and rotating Saturdays may be required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA‑P).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist.
Additional Job Standards
  • In lieu of the state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at the time of hire may meet the license requirement.
  • 21 years of age and have a clean driving record.
  • Be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Pay Range

$17.75 to $27.28 hourly. Float incentive: additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
