Therapist Social Worker

Job Summary:

Provides crisis assessment and intervention services to patients in emergency or community settings. Works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, effective mental health support for diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and risks.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintains accurate, detailed documentation of patient encounters and clinical findings.
• Supports patient safety through crisis stabilization and de-escalation techniques.
• Complies with all licensing, certification, and agency requirements, including timely licensure and certifications.
• Floats within the health system as needed, providing consistent care across units.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in crisis services, including assessments in emergency rooms, hospitals, or community settings.
• Hold active Washington State license (or in process, with application submitted).
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic health record system.
• Possess strong communication and crisis intervention skills.
• Willing to work night shifts (16:30–03:00 or 14:30–03:00) for 32 hours per week.
