Family Therapist

Overview

Our top client in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a Family Therapist for an Outpatient Program to work with individuals with mental health disorders and their families. The Family Therapist will conduct family assessments, provide in-home and in-office family therapy, conduct a family education group, and attend and offer input at weekly case staff meetings and court.

• Conduct family assessments
• Provide in-home and in-office family (both individual and conjoint) therapy with high-risk clients and their families
• Conduct a family education group
• Attend and offer input at weekly case staff meetings and court

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with current State of Washington credential
• A valid, unencumbered Washington or Oregon driver’s license is required. (This position requires using a personal vehicle to drive consumers in the community.)
• Must successfully pass a criminal history background check and be capable of obtaining jail clearance
• Ability to work with diverse populations which vary significantly, including social strata, age, education, race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation
• Experience working with mental health disorders, dual-diagnosis, and family systems
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help consumers achieve their goals

• Pay: $24-28/hour
• 4 weeks paid vacation (accrued)
• Tuition Reimbursement

If possible, we offer a hybrid schedule and pay ranges from $24 - $28 per hour.
