Job Description

Step into a fulfilling role providing Occupational Therapy services across multiple educational sites in a supportive school district near West Hartford, CT. This contract position begins in late August and runs through the end of November, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.

As the district-wide Occupational Therapist, you’ll deliver services onsite and work closely with educators and support staff. This dynamic role allows you to work with a diverse student population and utilize your expertise across various settings.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapy license for the state of Connecticut
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT role preferred
• Ability to manage a full caseload and adapt strategies to meet students’ unique needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to travel between school sites as required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and well-being
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Serve students throughout the district by rotating among multiple school locations
