I do want to call out that we’re looking for an ASAP start date as standard credentialing will allow ~90 days to give enough time for full enrollment into payors. So for now we’re NOT requiring a WA license but that may change if our desired start date changes and we need to fast track.

Required clinical activity in the last 24 months case logs Applicant must provide documentation case list of the provision of clinical services 100 patients representative of the privileges being requested during the previous 24 months. Case list must include diagnosis or procedure and date and facility where performed.
Will provider work solo? If not other providers specialties working with them No. Modified Barium Swallows are done with Speech Pathology

Required certifications Must be from AHA or American Red Cross as applicable BLS
EMR: EPIC

APP will perform fluoroscopic studies with support from radiologic technologists.
APP will operate fluoroscopy equipment technologists are well versed in equipment operation and available to assist as needed.
APP will provide the final interpretation and sign reports. A supervising radiologist will provide oversight and conduct random chart audits.
APP is expected to independently perform all listed studies following training.
Modified barium swallow studies will be performed in collaboration with an SLP with the SLP and APP each completing their respective portions of the exam.
No additional procedures beyond those listed are required. Feeding-tube placement drain procedures biopsies paracenteses and other Interventional Radiology procedures are handled by the IR PA team.
This is an APP position. The department is transitioning to a permanent PA staffing model due to physician shortages and locums coverage will support this transition.
Credentialing requires documentation of at least 5 procedures for each listed procedure type within the past 24 months.
Radiology physicians will provide training and proctoring to help the APP integrate into the department and system.
