Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership across various product and functional teams within our organization. This role is a highly influential individual contributor position that blends business strategy with people strategy to promote organizational health, enhance talent effectiveness, and cultivate a strong organizational culture  successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to directors and executives, shaping people initiatives that support the company's mission to connect people worldwide.

You will leverage deep expertise in organizational design, talent management, and change leadership, operating with autonomy in a dynamic environment, navigating ambiguity, and driving impactful outcomes across multiple levels and functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnership
    :
    Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leaders, influencing key business decisions through a focus on organizational and people strategies. Develop and implement integrated initiatives aligned with business priorities, including workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent strategy. Translate complex organizational challenges into practical, measurable people plans. Identify organizational risks and opportunities proactively, designing scalable interventions.
  • Organizational Effectiveness & Design
    :
    Lead efforts to optimize organizational structures for agility, speed, and impact. Use data-driven insights-both quantitative and qualitative-to diagnose organizational health issues and recommend effective solutions. Drive large-scale change management initiatives related to transformation, restructuring, or strategic shifts. Coach leaders on building high-performing, inclusive teams and fostering a healthy organizational culture.
  • Talent Management & Development
    :
    Collaborate with leadership on talent planning, including succession, leadership development, and high-potential identification. Oversee calibration and performance processes to ensure fairness, consistency, and differentiation. Advise on career pathways and internal mobility strategies to retain top talent. Partner with Total Rewards to influence compensation and reward strategies aligned with talent needs.
  • Culture, Engagement & Inclusion
    :
    Promote and embody organizational values, leading initiatives that boost employee engagement and fostering a sense of belonging. Analyze engagement data to develop targeted action plans in partnership with leaders. Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion practices across all people processes. Serve as a steward of culture during organizational changes, ensuring alignment with core values.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence
    :
    Function as a senior individual contributor within the People organization, setting standards and mentoring other HR professionals. Contribute to enterprise-wide HR strategies and initiatives, such as performance cycle redesign, manager effectiveness, and policy development. Establish strong collaborations with specialized teams (e.g., Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, People Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions. Act as a voice for the business within the broader People organization and vice versa.
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 8 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR capacity.
  • Proven experience working directly with senior executives (VP/SVP level) in fast-paced technology or similarly complex environments.
  • Deep expertise in at least three of the following areas: organizational design, talent management, change management, workforce planning, employee relations, or executive coaching.
  • Strong ability to utilize people analytics and data to diagnose organizational issues and measure HR intervention impact.
  • Demonstrated capacity to operate independently with high autonomy in ambiguous, rapidly changing settings.
  • Solid business acumen, with the ability to link people strategies to broader business and financial outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting engineering, product, or research teams within a large-scale technology organization.
  • Master's degree or advanced certification (e.g., MBA, MILR, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, ICF coaching credential).
  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organization supporting distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with advanced HR systems, tools, and a performance-driven philosophy.
  • Proven success in leading large organizational transformations or integrations from a people perspective.
  • Experience in coaching and developing other HR professionals to foster talent growth and organizational excellence.
