Our client is looking for an HR Manager who can lead talent acquisition from strategy through execution while contributing across the broader HR function.
Recruiting will be a significant focus
, particularly as you step into the role. This goes well beyond scheduling interviews and moving candidates through a process. You’ll partner with hiring leaders to understand their talent needs, create compelling ways to reach candidates, identify new sourcing channels, manage recruiting workflows within the HRIS
, and keep searches moving with urgency.
You’ll also havw broad exposure across HR, including employee relations, compensation, leave administration, engagement, compliance, and HR systems
, with the opportunity to continue growing into greater HR leadership responsibility over time.
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
- Develop creative recruiting strategies for positions that may require reaching candidates in smaller or more challenging talent markets.
- Partner with hiring leaders to develop job descriptions, hiring criteria, compensation ranges, and candidate attraction strategies.
- Identify sourcing channels, recruiting partnerships, career fairs, and community resources based on location and hiring need.
- Work closely with internal partners to strengthen recruitment marketing and candidate-facing materials.
- Maintain visibility into every active search, anticipate next steps, and keep hiring leaders informed without needing to be prompted.
- Manage recruiting workflows, requisitions, approvals, offer processes, and templates within the HRIS.
- Help clean up and improve existing recruiting processes and system workflows.
- Use HR technology as more than an end user, with the ability to configure workflows, improve processes, and understand how systems support the employee lifecycle.
- Maintain data integrity and leverage HR reporting and analytics to support decision-making.
- Support employee relations, investigations, coaching conversations, and performance matters in partnership with senior HR leadership.
- Contribute to compensation administration, market analysis, internal equity reviews, and job classifications.
- Support leave administration and employment compliance.
- Participate in employee engagement, recognition, wellness, internship, and retention initiatives.
- Initially provide support around benefits and open enrollment as the broader HR team continues to evolve.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
- Significant hands-on recruiting experience
, including sourcing, recruiting strategy, candidate outreach, screening, and hiring manager partnership. - Strong HRIS experience. Paycom is helpful, but experience configuring workflows, implementing modules, or improving systems within another HRIS is equally valuable.
- Working knowledge of employee relations and broader HR practices.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the confidence to engage employees, candidates, leaders, and groups.
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to stay ahead of your work rather than react to it.
- The creativity to change course when a recruiting strategy is not producing results.
- Strong organization, follow-through, judgment, and attention to detail.
