Director, MBA Career Center

• Develop career management strategies and counsel MBA students on their careers
• Co-manage employer relationships and design engagement strategies for Consulting industry employers
• Provide career advice and industry expertise for career management services serving full-time and evening MBA students
• Support the MBA admissions process through prospective student career programming
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, employers, alumni, and other stakeholders
• Provide career management advice to students and recruiting guidance to employers
• Manage on-campus and virtual employer presentations, events, interviewing, and programming with Operations Coordinator support
• Focus on the Consulting industry and coach students focused on specific functions or uncertain career paths
• Provide leadership and support to Industry Team members
• Manage external relationships and accounts on behalf of career management
• Serve as liaison between employers and students
• Coach and mentor junior staff on professional development and career skills

• Bachelor's degree required
• Five plus years of experience in career counseling required
• Experience with in the MBA recruiting process
• Management experience in a Human Resources environment
• Extremely strong interpersonal communication abilities
• Strong team orientation
• Proven experience handling corporate and/or university relationships
• Proven leadership
• Ability to work in a multi-task environment with tight deadlines
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff on professional development and career skills
• Strategic and innovative approach focused on holistic, systemic solutions
• Strong leadership and coaching/advising skills
• Ability to collaborate and deliver results by working with others
• Significant experience/expertise in at least one industry or function
• Recruiting experience as a hiring manager or recruiting/HR professional
• Skilled at delivering consulting-Styled case interviews
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Understanding of general recruiting databases
• Budgeting experience preferred

Demonstrates expertise in career management strategies, providing guidance to MBA students and employers while managing relationships within the Consulting industry. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
